| About Palomar Heritage Painters |
Palomar Heritage Painters is an affiliated chapter of the "Society of Decorative Painters" (SDP) located in San Diego County, California. Our club was founded in 1989 and is known as "Chapter with Heart". Our club has over 100 members and we paint on the second Saturday of each month from 9 am to 4 pm except in December. Our painting skill levels range from beginning to advanced.
During our scheduled "Paint-Ins" we have talented teachers who teach us new painting techniques from their own designs or published patterns. Our members paint on all kinds of surfaces such as wood,metal, fabric, and glass using various paint mediums - acrylic, gauche, watercolor, or oil. Other than our regular paint-ins we have seminars scheduled throughout the year which are taught by well known artists. Our SUPER fun events are Mystery Paint In held in January and the Christmas party in December.
